Medical & Surgical Mission 2023: A Partnership for Healthier Communities
From July 10-12, 2023, the Helping Hands Global Foundation partnered with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tigbauan to provide free healthcare services to the people of Tigbauan, Iloilo. The mission, held at Tigbauan Central Elementary School, offered medical check-ups, circumcisions, and minor surgeries, improving access to vital health services for the local community.
This collaboration between the Foundation and the Tigbauan LGU demonstrated the power of partnership in addressing healthcare challenges in underserved areas. By offering free services, the mission helped reduce financial barriers to healthcare and made important health interventions available to many who may have otherwise gone without care.
