The Healing Mission: LGU of Tigbauan and Helping Hands Global Foundation’s Medical and Surgical Mission

It’s heartwarming to see the power of people coming together to make a difference in the world. This is exactly what happened during the recent Medical and Surgical Mission in the LGU of Tigbauan, Iloilo, in partnership with the Helping Hands Global Foundation. 

For three days, the Tigbauan Central Elementary School was transformed into a hope, healing, and compassion hub to provide medical and surgical services to those in need. Through this blog, we’d like to share with you some of the heartwarming pictures and stories that came out of this incredible event.

The LGU of Tigbauan’s Medical and Surgical Mission was held last July 10-12, 2023. The partnership with Helping Hands Global Foundation was instrumental in making this possible. The foundation provided the necessary medical equipment, supplies, and volunteer doctors and nurses.

The event was packed with activities such as consultation and check-ups, minor medical procedures, and dental services. There were also free medicines, vitamins, reading glasses, and hygiene kits distributed to the patients. Furthermore, the surgical team was able to conduct various surgeries. All of these were done free of charge.

The LGU of Tigbauan’s Medical and Surgical Mission, in partnership with Helping Hands Global Foundation, was an incredible success that touched the lives of hundreds of people. It was humbling to see the turnout of the community, the selflessness of the volunteers, and the generosity of the sponsors.
